What is SMS Authentication code?
SMS Authentication is a kind of identity proof often used for two-factor Authentication (2FA) or multi-factor Authentication (MFA). In SMS Authentication, the user provides a code that has been sent to their phone via SMS as proof of their identity. A one-time password (OTP) is created using an algorithm and sent via text message to a phone number associated with the user.
How to Enable/Change SMS Authentication for Your Coinlocally Account at Website?
- Proceed Coinlocally official website and [Login] to your account.
- Click on your profile icon and go to [Security] section.
- Tap on [Bind] button next to [Mobile Verification] option.
- Choose your [Country Code] and enter your mobile [Number] then click on [Verify] button.
- [SMS Verification] code will send to your mobile device. Enter the code in SMS Authentication box.
- Then enter [Google Authenticator] code in the considered box and [Confirm] it to complete the process.
Congrats! Your SMS Authentication is enabled now for your Coinlocally account.
Note: Depends on your setting changes (Password, Email, Phone number, Anti-Phishing and 2FA), for privacy and security issues your withdrawal will be suspend until next 12 hours.
